What is FaceTite?

FaceTite in Austin is an advanced neck and face contouring procedure that provides a dramatic improvement in skin laxity, which was previously only attainable through a surgical procedure such as a facelift. Any areas on the face and neck with sagging skin can be treated, including the double chin and jowl line, as well as other areas with deep lines and loose skin.

How Does FaceTite Work?

FaceTite works safely in the sub-dermal plane, utilizing minimally invasive radiofrequency energy to melt fat, tighten skin, and contract and contour the underlying tissues.

This is a less traumatic process with a very natural-looking final result. By avoiding a facelift excisional procedure, patients will be scar-free and will benefit from reduced post-procedural swelling and discomfort.

Before & After

What Happens During a FaceTite Treatment?

We perform FaceTite procedures in-office, typically with patients under local anesthesia (via injections) and light sedation. We will cleanse and mark your skin before the procedure begins. Tiny incisions will be created (usually in front of the ear, behind the earlobe, and beneath the chin) so that the FaceTite probe can have an entry point into the skin. The FaceTite device has two probes on one instrument: one to go underneath the skin, and the other to go above it. Both probes emit radiofrequency energy to tighten and tone up the skin. Built-in safeguards will monitor heat levels during your FaceTite procedure, which takes approximately 45 minutes to complete. Once the probes have done their job, the tiny incisions will be closed.

Following this, Morpheus8 microneedling will be applied to the same areas to enhance the results. Sometimes liposuction is also performed. The entire procedure takes approximately 90-120 minutes.

Depending on your personal aesthetic goals, you may need more than one FaceTite treatment, but patients generally only require one. During your consultation, we will let you know how many sessions you will need.

“A little more than a week ago, I had FaceTite and Morpheus8 done by Dr. Jukes. I am new to these things which meant that I was more than a little nervous, But Dr. Jukes and her staff really helped me to relax and know I was in good hands. After the procedure, there was absolutely no bruising. I’m not even sure how that’s possible! There was of course swelling, but by day four, I was out and no one seemed to notice. By day eight, I really started seeing a difference…I’m loving what I see!”

FaceTite Recovery

Following your FaceTite in Austin procedure, you will be able to go home and resume your regular activities shortly after, although you’ll have some tenderness and soreness.

Wearing a compression garment (head wrap) is required for best results, and most patients are back to work in 2-3 days (depending on how comfortable you are being seen by others, as you’ll most likely have some visible bruising, redness, and swelling). Avoid exercise until we advise you to continue.
